@TektonJoe in this particular case, because it adds to the mechanical nature of who's speaking (i also use both in this), but otherwise: because they know it's fine / can fit more stuff / provides different design options / easier / etc etc

this one always cracks me up

literally everybody would start with the red part instead of quickly scribbling it in at the end to double check

more unpacking. this one is some pretty amazing comics, but too intense to reread even after ~five years. it's a heavy heavy book

today for lunch, an attilio micheluzzi MLK comic i'd never seen before. and micheluzzi in color is always a particular treat

@jaredkfletcher @bensears atrabile already has the next book of a bunch of shorts (256 pages!) done, hoping to see that in english soon too (cc @fantagraphics)
