more unpacking. this one is some pretty amazing comics, but too intense to reread even after ~five years. it's a heavy heavy book

today for lunch, an attilio micheluzzi MLK comic i'd never seen before. and micheluzzi in color is always a particular treat

@jaredkfletcher @bensears atrabile already has the next book of a bunch of shorts (256 pages!) done, hoping to see that in english soon too (cc @fantagraphics)

@TektonJoe "take care where you're walking" took a bit more space in french, and they didn't redraw the balloons back then (maybe they did in the meantime, my english copy is from 1981)

+ overlapping the two balloons was needed to add a simultaneous "yes yes i know" tone to thom(p)son

while i'm on old stuff, completely forgot i did this cover (garden of bones one-shot)

@pipelinecomics the art is what kills me in it, but this stuff definitely doesn't help (at the same time i have no problem reading page-wide paragraphs in a bilal book)
