Each month I send an artwork to my mom. Usually, I paint flowers for her. This lilac was her postcard in May since this is one of her favourite flowers. She enjoyed it a lot. 🌞

Last year I created this quick sketch while hiking in the Yorkshire Dales. Until then, I did not draw a single animal. Since then, I have felt the urge to learn to draw animals. They seem complicated, but I believe in practice and perseverance. More animal posts are to come soon.

I can't get enough of snowdrops this season. I used gouache for the first time for the whole composition and I enjoyed it a lot. 😊
