We had a Carolina Wren on the feeder yesterday.
Apparently with milder winters of late, some stay.
I find it difficult to mix vibrant browns… but I think he’s okay.
Love the way the bird came out - not so much the branch he’s sitting on.
I’ll hold my nose and call it okay.

My Old Deerfield Painting Group project this week - a pair of Cardinals.
Catbirds tend to play in shrubs and hedges, so I thought I’d hint at that.
I am not convinced it works, but will sleep on it.
Or lose sleep over it.
