Like many creators in the fandom, he started out creating content for the /mlp/ crowd. The insular nature of 4chan meant that people who spend a lot of time there have a certain kind of humor, influenced in part by /pol/ cross-contamination. Some can hide it better than others.
It was supposed to be a joke. The two communities should have hated each other. A fandom of full of guys who idolized a girl's cartoon show, and community of far-right fascists LARPers who idolized hitler and wanted to massacre jews. But a strange thing happened.
They got along.
Then in 2016 something happened that would transform both 4chan and the fandom forever, even if most bronies wouldn't realize it for years. The polarization of politics reached its peak with the election of Donald Trump. Right-wing populism entered its heyday, with 4chan in tow.
@hattpone I mean, the ponies are cute so I guess its fine. Just don't read too much into it. 9 or 10 times of the same joke doesn't really establish a pattern whatsoever.
Next up is the claim that my art of Smolder, a young dragon from the show, makes me a pedophile. This claim was first made as retaliation for calling out transphobia in the fandom.
You'll notice a pattern of these claims being used as attempts at "revenge". Never in good faith.
@ManualReplica @Jargon_Scott @RealAnonTheAnon @MKogwheel You didn't have to write all that out. You're just a hypocrite lol.
I guess either these pics don't count, or you're the "low-key racist".
In case you were wondering "hahah that couldn't possibly be it"
Its such an overused trope that Derpibooru LITERALLY has a custom tag for it: Bigotjack

I'm not against edgy jokes or racial humor, as my back-catalog shows clearly. But "haha Applejack owns slaves because she's southern" is a shit joke. Its stale. Applejack being racist is quite literally one of the OLDEST jokes in the fandom.
Literally just make better jokes.
