Greg made 7 attempts at Indy, making it in 1970. Greg was the last to try and put a Novi in the show! Greg started Weld Wheels and continued to race. A big winner in sprints, his business was great so he hung it up. Saying he wanted to be in business more than he wanted to race

legendary father Joe Saldana!
He and his son had quite a career behind the wheel! https://t.co/frJqNjLvlf
Ed, I totally agree!
But I think he is more of a
@wrenchtwister00 "BAD ASS" !
This week we will be doing a RACERS TRIBUTE to the 1 and only
Mr. @1sam91 !
A @knoxvilleraces Nationals Champion 1 of the BIG 3! https://t.co/f53eU2zK9u
Chuck Boos was a "BAD ASS" at
Langhorne!
As a kid I did not know much about Chuck but I did notice that he had a way around Langhorne!
Plus I thought his name was cool!

Joey, we totally agree! Your father is a true Motorsports "BAD ASS"!
But do not cut yourself short either! You kept the Saldana Racing Tradition alive and well!
The Apple did not fall from the tree!

Joe Saldana had a good racing career! He raced against the best and beat them as well! He survived a tough era of racing and lived his dream to run Indy! He built up some nice businesses and he was able to watch his son @JoeySaldana go on to become a superstar on the race track!
Joe Saldana
Clay Center, NE
Joe Saldana started racing around his home in Nebraska and winning races became a habit. To get more experience and exposure he started racing weekly @knoxvilleraces in the late 60's. Good move as Joe won races and 3 times in a row was 2nd in points!
Thanks Ryan!
We will do a piece sometime on
JW Hunt! He is more than worthy for it! That man loved his race cars!
