Regarded by many as the greatest showman and promoter in Drag racing ever! A crafted chassis/engine builder as well! 🔧

"Jungle Jim" distrusted the NHRA and preferred the match races running for guaranted 💰payouts for 3 runs, win or lose!
In 1977 Jim was killed on the highway driving his Chevy Corvette traveling at a high rate of speed and collided head on into a Transit bus! 🙏
