now the original game design and original comic design for Ray are NPCs in the game. he's gone through quite the changes over the years. especially seeing the last picture.

I can say actually I drew this today. almost forgot because I need to redraw it lol

Streamlining the faces was a really good idea. way more consistent with each other now.
Here's Ethan, Riley, Robbi, and Enig. just some of the colorful cast you'll come across inside of Maia's subconscious version of Autumn Bay City.

Jack here used to be Ray's alter ego who could be summoned in battle and whatnot. but since that angle is gone now from the story/combat... he's now an NPC. and well you know what that means. he can catch these hands on the map. need to change his dialog tho lol.

oh, I changed how dual techs work now. you do them thru combo rushes with Mike or Ray. except for damage, I think I'm done with these skills finally. plus the game doesn't tell you how to do the exact inputs so it's a cool surprise if you get em right.

2018(?) artwork of Ray based on his design I had through most of the 2010's... tho the second pic is actually the closest to his original comic book conception. but the last is the current look. He's got so many varied looks as he used to be the main character. he's changed a lot
