did an outline of everything today. a lot of the maps are done it seems. the first 3 major areas are 90 to 95% complete. I mostly need to do touch up stuff/finalize things. I'd better get to the script because I have enough for a demo definitely.

Crazed followers of the antagonist group WAVE. they'll do whatever it takes to help them and they'll try to stop you whenever then can. I decided to take these 2 and change their roles in the game since they no longer fit the plot I was going for.

Enig's face is done. I changed his backstory too. It's a bit more tragic now. Let's just say he wants to save the day, but can't save himself. You'll learn about him inside his personal Escape Space once you reach him on Bantam Street.

here's Diana's new idle stance in motion. She's the most anxious of the 3 party members so she's always on the defensive and ready for anything.

fixed it up to make the jab look a lot better. pretty happy with how this came out.

Here's Ray's new uppercut in action. Actually looked at a picture of Akuma from Pocket Fighter to figure out a good way to draw this and adapt it to my style. some people have mentioned fighting game stuff to me, so yeah, more references are cool.

here's 2 frames from the other 2 animations... so far I've replaced 3 in total for Mike. the new stuff is just way cooler looking than what he had. product of him being the first character I drew in this style and me playing it extremely safe.

made a gif of one of the new animations. much more interesting than the old one. this was kind of tricky. I used #juicefx to animate Mike himself while attaching the effect to 4 different frames of said animation. then put it all together.
