->he's like the coolest thing, and the arc with him is just so good. Yeah Sakura is cute and likeable but she was too basic for me even though I love Tange Sakura, but the real fun was in the other characters for me

Rewatched Cardcaptor Sakura and it's still one of those animes with the most pleasant and calming atmosphere, I like how the motw eps aren't that repetative and it manages to give something new with every episode. Has some fucked up stuff and very stupid explanations but->

Watched Sunrise's White Fang movie for the 3rd time, gave it a 10 finally, this movie is just damn, Yasuhiko's designs and animation is too perfect and the directing sheesh, checked out the staff more thoroughly this time and realized that the other director was Kanda Takeyuki->

Rewatched Yasu's Sanctus OVA, it's very suprising but he has a real talent to artsy, dramatic directing too, also a lot of side characters radiated his artstyle while the mc guys had the standard 70's shoujo look, that was kinda fun, the VAs for the boys were perfect, it's->
->Too bad that ofc they couldn't top Miyazaki's direction but they still made a very fun and special little movie with, possibly, a tragic ending because it's totally not clear what actually happened in the credits scene. Also the Mermaid In Blue song is a true banger damn
And right after Xam'd I watched the other Nausicaa clone (harsh), Elfie from Nippon Animation, they even hired Shimamoto to voice Elfie and Kotabe for CharDesign, so they kinda made their own little Ghibli movie, with a lot more interesting underwater setting than the original->
