Both of their designs contain clouds! Gorou’s (on his pants) are more traditional while Kazuha’s (on his wish art & his burst) are more modern. One could argue that the swirly patterns on Kazuha’s sleeves are also similar to clouds.

It kinda feels like he changed from the classic design to the current/modern.

Both of the first designs have orange fur and his eyes stretched to the forehead. Classic cartoon shape.

The second designs became a desaturated yellow color. And his eyes became more square in shape.

Church of Kinder was a church that took care of the city childern. Being made from planets and a large city needed a place for their seedlings. The soil of the church is high in magic thanks to a pool of magic deep under it that keeps the main tree of the city alive.
