Yeah, like a lot of Manga Artist he got his start in H-Doujins and his earlier work is very Fanservice heavy. He also did the art for the Otomedius series, a sexy anime version of Gradius that Konami hasn't touched in 10 years.

Yeah! She, or a variant of her, appears in just about every game in the series. She's actually based off of a monster called the Shadow Dancer, which is itself in almost every Gradius game near the end.

She's way cuter, though, and that's coming from someone into robots.

Another canned game I worked on for a little while! This one was the first time using Unreal and got to learn to use blueprints to program. It was a side-scrolling shooter like Gradius starring a space-magical girl fighting lovecraftian monsters.
