Day 2: Spectrovenator, the newly discovered Abelisaurid of 2020. Happy how this guy turned out ^^

New work! An abelisaurid Spectrovenator ragei from early Cretaceous of Brazil. Amazing fossil and interesting dinosaur. Colored with watercolors, I really like the result! 😃

New early Cretaceous abelisaurid, Spectrovenator (ghost hunter). A neat little critter that fills in a crucial gap in abelisaurid evolution.

Bienvenue Spectrovenator ragei!

day 12: today’s is a saltasaur adapted to live like an ankylosaur, even more heavily armored than related sauropods. Pictured here with a very confused abelisaur

5 32

day 7: today’s is a pair of abelisaurs engaged in bloody combat with their ridiculously thick (thicc) tails. Carnotaurus had a very thick tail, and these abelisaurs have taken it to the logical extreme, fighting like giraffes do with their necks.

Goshzilly has elements of both Abelisaurs and Spinosaurs so he’s definitely a Theropod. It’s about as aquatic as any other rendition, not really having any obvious adaptations for swimming but still being adept at doing so. It also walks plantigrade like a Therizinosaur.
