I went to go see the movie 'Scary stories to tell in the dark' and it reminded me that we read this book as children guys. AS CHILDREN. I didnt realize how terrifying this artwork actually was at 8 years old lmao AND NOW THERE'S A MOVIE ABOUT IT?!

is a fun gateway horror film that captures the tone of the books, but fails to tell the stories well by cramming a creature in here or there during an uninteresting investigation plot.

Kids will have a great time with it though & that’s what matters
