I wonder which of the dinosaurs in should have some kind of plumage.

This is a complex issue, as flaky 3D models are cheaper than feathered ones. If it were up to me, the vast majority of theropods would have plumage.

Thoughts?

Unfortunately I don't have new art for but here are some older works. Torvosaurus tanneri, Allosaurus fragilis, and Marshosaurus and Ornitholestes with their prey items.

A lot of theropods were fluffy and sauropods were scaly so I guess it makes sense that Palkia would be fluffy and Dialga would be scaly.

Incidentally, this is South America's fourth new abelisaurid since the start of 2020: the others are Niebla, Spectrovenator (shown here; from Zaher et al. 2020) & Tralkasaurus.

More the lack of something but painting therepods with colorations that are possible without feather tracts. Large theropods aren’t going to have the neat patterns of a small sparrow especially in the face. Also more developed scapulars, tertiaries and mantle contour feathers

Creetur
Hallucinavenator: little and very agile theropods who are often found hunting in little packs.
Their bites are venomous, this special type of venom will cause the unfortunate prey to feel dizzy and have hallucinations.
The pack will stalk the animal until it passes out.

I like to think Ceratosaurs had small man syndrome. Just waddling around in search of larger Theropods to harass away from their kills.

Mmyes new animal
Toxic Snowspitter: big ferocious theropods who inhabit the coldest areas of the world, when hunting they will spit freezing cold acid that immobilizes the prey, after that they'll consume the unfortunate animal.
Oh and they love the taste of 's Chilloos.

Howdy! I'm Pasta; I draw all sorts of things, but on Twitter I'm mostly doing palaeoart. Mostly theropods. Mostly megaraptorids. As you can see, I play favourites
