This week hasn't been the best for art, so got a few things I want to try on tonight's Creative Chaos stream:
- Shitpost doodles
- 3D Deer Dude - finishing modelling starting on UVs and texture
- Animation collab
- (Maybe) refining game character concepts

It seems good enough, but it's still kinda sus to me.
Might not work with Blender 3.x.
It merges the textures then rearranges the UVs to match.
I was doing this by hand with GIMP and the UV editor.

not gonna use this one for cherry as i would have to completely redo the texturing cause the uvs got all messy from adding the bottom legs, but i will keep it for later use if needed

Still learning and needs work but pretty fun! All procedural mesh and shaders (not sure how UVs work haha)
My favourite steps of my process are sculpting and painting these organ objects. In between there is a very difficult step of making UVs. So switching back to sculpting for now

Sketched up a couple tigers last night, when I asked on Instagram what colors people wanted to see and they said UVs and pastels so that's what I went with 👀🐯
lil tip for 3D modelers making editable base models (like on gumroad!) For customers who don't own substance painter it's good to arrange your UVs so it's easier to locate where certain parts are, sometimes it's good to substitute perfect UV packing for readability instead.
There isn't enough geo to support the shapes and the design is undercooked but I think these tools could be a really nice part of my concept workflow, especially in regards to making 3D roughs for prototyping. RizomUV (among others) makes UVs pretty painless.
Might want to play around with some of the UVs, but it's slowpy getting done :)

@Litronom Wow!! Maybe they wanted to use it as a trophy for the Special Cup, something like in Super Mario Kart? However, it looks like an unfinished model, because of the UVs on the bottom
