FROM SWEDEN & DENMARK: Lennart Hellsing, the Swedish children’s writer with West Indian blood, died 5 years ago today. His works are not translated into English yet: too much wordplay. But the illustrations to his books, by Charlotte Ramels and Poul Ströyer, are pretty telling.
