It just stops the character and target animation, the particles and everything else run normally. Without the hitstop I feel it lacks friction/impact to the attacks.

Developed some noise brushes in Clip Studio. They add a nice surface quality to digital files (as if printed on paper a bit). It also add a sort of movie grain and air particles look to graphic images. (Maybe overdid it on this sketch)
