I visited a real cemetery today for reference! I also plotted out the graveyard layout, made some placeholder tiles, more grass prototypes, and populated a section with graves. They'll have more variance eventually!

I've changed up a few things for I'm revisting the feature rich Unreal Engine and Paper 2D. Because it's easier to prototype stuff in such a small time. I'm going to focus on art for a few days. Here's a teaser

Day 8. I think I'm happy with the new direction of the sprite. I made him a bit shorter, and a little wider, adjusted his arm too. Looks a lot better. But now I can't decide on the eye. I'm leaning toward option C, but I like outside opinions. Poll below. :D

Ended up working on the Glyph Masters Hut a little more. Never drawn environmental stuff like this, so I drew inspiration from Zelda Minish Cap, a favourite of mine.

Still has a way to go, but its nicer (:

Day 6. While the original fox sprite I did is super cute, the eyes are hard to work with and the size makes some details also hard to portray. So I'm reworking it. Not sure how I feel just yet, but I think I'm on a good path. What do you guys think?

Day 6. Scrapped ludum dare 45 jam's project from yesterday (beaucause waaay to long to finish in the given time), started a new one yesterday night. most graphisms are here, need to implement functionnalities and compose/find a fitting music. Still a long way to go ><
