TOGA HIMIKO ☆ MY VILLAIN ACADEMIA

I’ve been wanting to color this ever since it came out but I didn’t feel like I had the skill level to until now. In this 2 months I’ve been working really hard at refining and improving my painting and i finally tackled this chapter cover!

I'll be refining this LOTS for a proper ref sheet, but I'm really happy with the design for my marten!

I did some color tests in the first sketch before refining yesterday. I'm tempted to try for non human skin tone. Will need to play around with values or find a specific seahorse to theme off of 😌

started this as an experiment where i would sketch and then go straight to coloring and shading. no lineart.
gotta say that i'm liking how it's turning out, but the refining and cleaning takes a long time, so i'm just winging it at this point, lol

So I felt like trying to convert that doodle of siona to digital so I could test out different ways of adding color. And I gotta say even though this is still a massive wip, I really like how its turning out! (Im going to be refining all of this btw I know its messy)

Doing a thing. Cleanup lead on the Lackadaisy film and currently working on figuring out what the final cleanup for the film will look like. Going for that old school rough xerox look for the lines. Could use more refining, but I'm happy with this start. Animation by Nick.
