GIMPはCADじゃないんで、グリッドやパスで合わせるしかないけど、感覚的にはCADっぽいかな。
WardやExcelでも余裕で作れる人いるでしょ。
こういうエンブレム作るのも大変だけど楽しいね。

I did the final test, with surfaces and b-spline curves and after this object made with surfaces and joined in a perfect solid with #FreeCAD you can do everything .. free form modelling #CAD #opensource #NURBS IGES exported and opened in other application :)
