Good tip: if you ever feel you haven't improved your art, open up a psd/clip/sai file of the same 'style' from 1-2 years ago and zoom in. It'll tell volumes more than a glance.

my tip: I've found that art block often comes from my anxiety about how others will see my work. But if my goal in creating art is to make something from the heart I will succeed every time. Improvement will happen the more you draw, and it's easier to draw when you enjoy it. (:
