Some practice for a lot of things. It’s not perfect, but it’s a step to improving. Now that it’s finished looking back, I should have used more dark colors in the background to help the foreground stand out.

Work in Progress. With this piece I wanted to portray the focal point. Will be painting more color and detail in the front with the back more sparse. Tiny grass and scrub will create contrast with more detailed vivid grass and scrub in foreground.
