Working on retopo, but could use some advice. Should I make the hip parts of the belt separate geo or part of the body? It could be a problem area for deformations.

Looks like the mesh is damaged. Tried running through zbrush but the inverted polys didnt come through and couldnt be retopo'd. My workaround is using the normal direction shader in c4d to see and select the bad polys and invert manually. (gave them red color to easily see)

Finally retopologizing the orc! I wanted to wait until I sculpted some toes, but I decided that I'm just going to make him with boots for now. I may make a proper base-mesh down the road. =)

Update on this buff guy. Retopo is finally finished and so is projecting the sculpt to the new geo. Might need a few tweaks for polish but the hard part is done.

Got Borky's lower body blocked in, and finished the hair card setup. Next, gonna finish detailing the clothes, retopo/unwrap, bake and texture. Then it's on to doing some rigging tests!

Today I made a PBR game ready photorealistic rock asset, and after sculpt and retopology only have 380 tris, I really happy with the results! 😀

I made a Chibi-ish Helios model in not even a full week (2 days for sculpt, 1 for rig and retopo). I also made a game model in case i wanted to port it over something!
