Hiya, I'm Jackie or Jay, and I'm an amateur palaeoartist.
My most recent work is this bird, Sapeornis and the other three are some of my favourites. If you follow me, you know them well.

One of these days I’ll start doing prep research and using proper anatomy refs like a good palaeoartist, but for now I’m really enjoying recklessly smashing out Thylacoleo sketches with no theoretical basis other than “big boofy head, buck teeth, highly pattable”

I am describing a new pterosaur from Scotland, large 3D skeleton from Jurassic (I know, really exciting anomaly). Heaps of new palaeoart inside. And first official look at lovely, unique specimen - along with few words on endocasts & pterosaur scansoriality. 👉👈
