The latest aliens. Call them Ishmaelans: these sharklike aliens built an early industrial society from hunting Astrocetus, space whales. When humans arrived, they discovered how to harness the whales' interstellar travel power. So the age of the space pirates began.

British Columbian Wolf! He's up for pre-claims, and he'll be going for a set price of $117.

A sky-pirate that hoists around a giant gunlance. While most pirates invoke fear into the hearts of merchants, this sky pirate in particular targets ships that try to poach whales.

Heres one of my OC's, Tassie :) Shes a pretty down to earth chill type of person. Her best friend's Abigail, someone who is very friendly and loves whales. They've been through and have done everything together since diapers :)

Myth 4 (cont'd)

Further, megalodon is known to have lived in coastal habitats & preyed on whales. Given our own love for the coast and that whale bodies with large bite marks float, we would have definitely noticed by now if a giant shark was living nearby killing whales (7/12)

On some poems about whales.

Colossal and staggeringly big
They move through the water slowly and gently
Like something in a fantasy story...

Monsters are rude, loud and destructive. But Yeti is different — baking banana bread, saying nice things, singing to whales. NOT YETI by and is about an irresistible monster who chooses kindness when other monsters don’t. https://t.co/pWY9TwpU2S

I find King's Lynn whaling history fascinating even tho I love whales. Pictures show one of the 9 ships based at Lynn. Picture of what is left of the watermill at narborough where whale bones were ground for bonemeal. And the Greenland fisheries pub where the whalers drank.

I don’t know what the future holds for the set of Demonheart books I want to write soon, but I know I’ll be making an active effort to include more pirates and whales. Are you a fan of a more nautical motif in the genre?

We're all swimming in a big ocean called the digital unconscious.
