Reading and re-reading the combat rules for 4th edition makes me think that this game would be much better, if the authors decided to explain the mechanics in a different way...

The necromantic magic in "Night's Dark Masters" is pretty medicore, especially when it comes to offensive spells. Gaze of Nagash i nice, and I like the ritual to summon a ship of the dead, but overall the arcane arts are the only part of this book, that is weak.

After watching a rather interesting video on YouTube, I have to agree that conveying the feel and atmosphere of the faux-reneissance Old World is much easier, than the grim and dark future of Dark Heresy. Where do the people living in Hive Cities go to get groceries?

Araby continues to test the "Inglorious Basterds" mercenary company, as the heat and strange, foregin cuisine are taking a heavy toll on the soldiers' stamina and morale. Meanwhile they've found out that the missing embassy servant had Mandrake root in her room...

One of my favorite sessions ever was sicking a zombie dragon-riding necromancer on my players. The entire thing was GMed with almost no dice rolling, and mainly depended on my players' decisions. In the end they blew her up with a left-over Skaven warpfire tank.

Real talk: we desperately need a vampire-centric sourcebook for the 4th edition I've been reading "Night's Dark Masters" lately, and it's simply one of the best titles for the 2nd edition. Rich in lore and rules, dark and wonderfully written. - pretty please?

I am eagerly waiting for my PCs to reach the undead sand goblins' lair, just east of Lashiek. They will be for quite a surprise. The little buggers have retained all of their viciousness, while getting rid of their fear - not being alive has some perks, after all!

The "Inglorious Basterds" mercenary company is under new management, and they have a new recruit - dwarf slayer Dorin Bugman, the cousin of a certain famous brewmaster. The big question is: will he fit in? Artwork done by Ilacha on .

Started reading "Ubersreik Adventures". This tome is so good. The scenarios within are a joy to run, and I'm sure that I'll be able to do so one day. Good job .

During our last Araby session, the mercenary company's resident swindler overheard a disturbing conversation betweenn the Imperial ambassador and his advisor. It looks like the men who are hiring the Inglorious Basterds Company are hiding something...

Last time on "The Thousand Thrones": the party managed to piss off one sassy vampire lady, and they got wrecked (after putting one hell of a fight, I might add). What will happen to them now, at the beginning of chapter 8? I know, but I'm not telling... yet.

In two hours my first, proper session in Araby will begin. I can't wait!

Chapter 7 of "The Thousand Thrones" is done and dusted. The Stirland Captain smashed baroness Lydia von Carstein's ancient Nehekharan tablets, and thus prevented her from completing the blasphemous Union of Souls ritual. The baroness did not took this well...
