Good evenyan, and here's my 62nd daily featuring 校, school!

I took inspiration from a school on the irasutoya website and drew my own take on it. ^_^

It took a while to work in all the details, but it was fun! Thanks for stopping by, またね!

Good evenyan, and welcome to my 61st daily featuring 学, school! ^_^

Today's picture is from ここせいかぞく, Kokosei Kazoku, by Nakami Ryo-sensei. I drew Ietani Ichiro, the father who is attending high school!

Thanks for stopping by! またね!

Good evenyan, and welcome to my 59th daily featuring 文, sentence!

It was a little challenging to come up with a picture for this, but my friend helped me out with an idea: Pot lid, X marks the spot. ^^

Thanks for stopping by, またね!

The most Mainstream Kinnikuman moment was when Masahiro Sakurai Reference Springman スプリングマン and スプリングマン have the same kanjis with the Min Min Smash Bros fighter demonstration

“ - I-Im Deku !

- You know, the name 'Deku' sounds like the kanjis of 'Do your best', so I like it! ” ☀️🌸

Good afternyan, and here's my 38th daily Today's is 女, female!

As an aside, 女の子 (onna no ko) means girl and 女の人 (onna no hito) means person. The difference is 子, child, vs 人, person.

Avec ses néons omniprésents, ses boutiques ouvertes en pleines nuits, les panneaux lumineux couverts de kanjis, la nuit tokyoïte est attrayante et montre une facette libérée des japonais, loin des bureaux, des costumes et de l'étiquette

“ a path that could have been... “

Good evenyan, it's time for featuring 左, meaning left!

This kanji is made up of two components, one that means "left hand" and the other meaning "tool", 工. In other words, the hand that assists.

Pretty cool how the parts add up, huh? ^_^

Good evenyan, here's my featuring: 千, 1000!

I actually always remember this because of Spirited Away, where the protagonist, Chihiro (千尋) had her name temporarily changed to Sen because it was the first kanji of her name. ^_^

Good evenyan, time for my latest featuring: 十 - 10! ^_^

With this you can count from 1 to 10 in Japanese! A more important skill than many realize.

Fun fact, this originally derived from the kanji for needle.

Good evenyan! Here's my for tonight, featuring: 九 - 9!

Almost to the end of the basic number kanji. ^_^

This kanji originally depicted a bent arm, and was used as a sound loan for the number 9.

Questions or comments are always welcome!

Good evenyan! Here's my featuring: 八, 8! ^_^

Like many kanji, this one originally had a different meaning of separation, and was used as a sound loan.

Similar to how the English sound for 8 is pronounced the same as "ate".

Good evenyan, time for my daily

Today features: 七, the number seven!

A way to remember it is like if you take 一 (1) and cut downwards to make 七 (7). Loosely similar to how you make 7 from 1 in English. ^_^

I'll see you tomorrow!

White Blade, mais um assassino da minha ficção, membro das 4 lâminas do Eden... De novo

E de novo eu esqueci o que os kanjis no manto significam, só lembro que são kanjis :v

E aí, o que acharam?

Evenyawn...

I was working on that new kanjistudy picture and didn't realize how late it was. So I'm gonna turn in. I'm sure Sam and Loki will be along to join me shortly.

Tomorrow is Wednesday, so good job on clearing the harder part of the week. ^_^
