WW2中、フランス南部に住む少年ジョーはユダヤ人ベンジャミンを助けてユダヤ人の子供たちをスペインに逃がそうとする。
児童文学が原作で低年齢層の観客も意識したのか、あまり過酷な描写はないものの、それなりのリアリティも感じさせる佳作でした。
