Both Echo and Nicholas Kole's Reignited have the same eye shape, beaked mouth, and similar kind of jewelry on their necks and front legs. Echo even has a somewhat similar color scheme to Nicholas' beetle, Sting.

Changed Lorelei's design so that she's a bit slimmer. I think it better compliments Lucy's body shape, as Lucy is short and stout. I think it also helps make her look less like a mom and more like a young older sister.

Thanks so much :) I took inspiration from the description from the book, overall shape, and length before taking a cue from Harper Goff Disney design mainly the Raker over the wheelhouse & 1864 painting of H. L. Hunley by Conrad Wise Chapman, I worked the interior into it too.

When I can’t make something for real, (weapons, severed heads, snake hair, etc) I love turning raw materials into cool props. Foil, foam, clay, worbla, cardboard, anything that can be coaxed into the right shape, can be painted to create a convincing illusion.
