1st 2 issues have prime 70s Kirby art/words + great Mike Royer inking. Rest of the series has funky Thibodieaux inking that matches Kirby’s funky 80s art/writing. Most notable aspect of CV is that the 2nd half of the series is a stealth sequel to New Gods.
