Over time, my art branched into different styles to tend separated goals. I love the feeling of hardships becoming routine until they feel like the standard workflow, only to stumble upon the next hardship ahead.
Made a quick guide on one way I use photo textures in my current workflow. It's no replacement for painting things by hand and requires you to do more work to integrate it into your work.

So, we had to rewind, and step back, we saw a fault on the details and made a new adjustment to the workflow, seems to look more lovely.

Copied from the original (left) and half-pixel interpretation.
The workflow for this is similar to a '1.5x' up-rezzed sprite (2x if you go for quarter-pixels), but the payoff seems way bigger.

Forgot that I didn't use multiply on shading layer, so I wanted to fix that, but now CSP doesnt want to save PNG format and just crashes?
