Ark Scales new color. Did this cause he was originally Maroon, but went with green. He stands out more with the Maroon color. Now gotta go back to old episodes and re-color him. Future episodes will keep this change. Still same old Ark though!

Lost Pokemon of the Day: Yellow Chikorita

In the months leading up to the release of Gold & Silver, lots of pre-release and promotional materials showed Chikorita's official artwork was yellow... but he ended up getting changed to green.

chose the colors in procreate- they were much duller after export, so i went to PS and bumped the saturation. then i decided i wanted the whole thing to be more blue rather than purple, so i used a "color balance" filter to add green. then just manually changed some line colors
