I like how easily Affinity Photo exports layers via their slice tool. It doesn't suffer from the fury-inducing one pixel of alpha-smudged image border when you resize (the way layers do in Photoshop) either.

Thanks once more! Still, while the black background does look better, I decided to go all the way and make a proper abstract, "fire-and-nature" kinda background. I call this one "Andy learned what the Smudge Tool does". :))
