I think adding swirls to the background really gave it what I was feeling was missing from the pattern! Most people seemed to like the brown/tan one, and I think I like keeping the focus very much on the cinnamon bun. I'm ordering the dress and will post pics when it's here!

I made my first fabric pattern! 🥰
They were my guinea pigs, Poico (brown and beige) and Tofu (white, black and yellow).
We lived together for 6 years, but Poico died at the beginning of last year and Tofu died at the end of it.

This was very nostalgic for me as my mum is an avid gardener with too many chickens, and I grew up eating fresh carrots and snow peas when I was supposed to be helping pick vegetables for dinner.
