I have also completed the Phalanx BuruBuru- it trades its axe for a big freaking shield. Improved survivability over the standard SAN-X9, and it can use the shield for a charge/bash attack.

Despite playing for 7 and a half hours, we only beat the second gym in Pokémon Shield. Though none of our Pokémon died and we also got to draw duck for his birthday, so that worked out.
