A little project that I’ve been working on for a while in the Athletic Knit R&D department. A 3D hockey jersey for the Reading Royals! 🔵🔴😎👀 put on 3D glasses and parts of the jersey design are in 3D. The Royals will be wearing these Nov. 17th and auctioning them off.

Comparing it to last year's Magical Mirai, Yeah. It doesn't work as good in 3D. But the concept art itself is incredibly simple in the coloring and hair design. Realistically, the model we got is a rather faithful recreation of the art.

Working on another character, this time mostly in 3D. Mixing sculpting and hard surface modeling is new territory for me. Feels like modeling things like the armor and goggles makes a lot more sense than trying to sculpt them really carefully.
