Drawing city environments is a challenge, it is a balance in organizing everything to be visible and leaving those drops of chaos

All. Character design, costume design, environments, equipment, vehicles, atmosphere, cultural references, action references - when I get down to it, its a fun thing to do - its the closest I can come to raw creation in drawing.

That’s one thing I’ve always loved, Nintendo art with the swirling world, or tiny versions of the environments you traverse

Glad someone else noticed it!

Done by Friday! A new Korra and Asami art for a new decade. Hooray!

I've been pushing myself to draw characters in actual environments instead of blank voids. So also enjoy this scene I painted of Avatar Korra Park.
