Ah, International Soccer. I remember that was one of the main games they had running in the town Commodore Shop. In the early C64 days, it was mostly that and Pitfall on display. International Soccer has really survived the test of time well. I still find it great fun to play. 👍

I little plain looking, as far as arcade conversions went, but the gameplay and level layouts were quite well done. 🤔 I remember spending a lot of time playing the C64 interpretation of 1942. Challenging, but a lot of fun to be had. 😁

Very well done. It is a great game to complete. Feels like you've really achieved something, after all that puzzle solving. And the end of game sequence, though short, is a lot more spectacular than most C64 endings. 👍

Devious Designs. Wonderfully complex puzzler by Pete Baron (Myth + Salamander dev), with graphics by Bob Stevenson. Cancelled when focus switched to + editions, the near complete edition was recovered by back in 2006.

Iridis Alpha is one of Jeff Minter's best shoot-em-ups on the C64. Fast, with many conflicting tasks to worry about, you really had to be in 'the zone' to be playing this effectively. And he seemed to have mastered his ability to throw sprites all over the screen with abandon. 😁

Also, those floating sprites in the air.. very reminiscent of Shadow of the Beast (second picture), which is impressive for a C64 game to remind me of that. 😎

That little bit of vertical parallax is a nice touch. Loving the way it's coming together so far. 👍 Looks like a healthy mix of Falcon Patrol II and Choplifter. (Both C64 favourites of mine.) 😁
