Each of my collaged Wiwaxia prints is unique. I like how this half-billion year old Cambrian creature looks with a subtle pattern on its spines (from laminated with white tissue stripes over grey and small iridescent inclusions).⠀

Wiwaxia corrugata of the Burgess Shale, eating Cyanobacterial mats of Morania from the sea floor with a rasping mouth. Behind it, the decaying moult of Hurdia, encrusted by Morania (based on USNM 57718). There are many species of Wiwaxia.
