Each of my collaged Wiwaxia prints is unique. I like how this half-billion year old Cambrian creature looks with a subtle pattern on its spines (from laminated #washi with white tissue stripes over grey and small iridescent inclusions).⠀

it's your wiwaxia, use it when you need it
Why not. Wiwaxia corrugata.

Wiwaxia corrugata of the Burgess Shale, eating Cyanobacterial mats of Morania from the sea floor with a rasping mouth. Behind it, the decaying moult of Hurdia, encrusted by Morania (based on USNM 57718). There are many species of Wiwaxia.

Found these little #BurgessShale creatures at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History @morethanadodo - Wiwaxia (a bit squished after the transatlantic flight), Trilobite, Opabinia, and Marrella #FossilFriday
enjoying faking specimen photography with Blender. ^^ The mighty spiky Wiwaxia, early molusc from Burgess shale #paleoart #sciart #Wiwaxia #burgessshale #Cambrian
What do you get if you cross Wiwaxia with an annelid?
