When gringo distributors of Japanese media acquired licenses and produce "localization" plagued with edits, censorship and modified dialogues. Obviously that way they were going to create a fanbase of puritans who saw adulterated products

@yenpress The word "Slave" is literally in English in the Japanese Title, like it's the biggest thing on the cover its impossible to miss. What a weird thing to change in the localization.
You could probably take any random screenshot from Lamunation's localization and enrage people who don't know that the original game was Just Like That™ to begin with.

Udon Entertainment's localization of Fate: Return to Avalon - Takeuchi Takashi Art Works has been constantly delayed, basically moving up a month at a time from its original November 2, 2021 release.
Current release date is now June 14, 2022.

Probably worked on localizations for 100++ titles by now, but my very first in-game credit was for The Sims 2 - Nightlife.
Great learning experience and colleagues, and the start of a continous quest to meddle with people's vocabulary and sense of humor.
