Fun fact: in the beginning of my career I was *obsessed* with texture. I would add layers upon layers of texture until my laptop, basically as many as my laptop was able to take. 😀

You can also achieve this with multi-image prompting using an image of the base object and an image of the material as a texture/pattern:
