Happy Monday! Between 1977 & 1983, TSR (pre-WOTC publisher of D&D) published 3 different books of monsters for 1E Advanced Dungeons & Dragons. Today I'll talk about different art styles in those 3 books, starting with the covers. Which is your favorite? 🧵

Y'know, it is pure serendipity that WoTC dropped a UA for a throwing weapon barbarian mere days after I start making a throwing weapon barbarian.
Anyways this is Irma the Bonebreaker, a 7 foot insane person and totally not a screaming Gundam/Berserk reference.

People are getting mad that WotC is being awful, but then getting more mad when people are like, “Why not try Pathfinder then it doesn’t have that problem?”

I'm personally v happy WOTC is starting to add body diversity to races that are known to be "graceful" and "slender." I still hate WOTC for their choices, but I just appreciate Mister Witch :))

I apologize moots for the sudden ramble

Warning WotC friends - ahead.

Some absolute bangers from /r/custommagic this week. First Un-card in a while to make me laugh. Sometimes I'm astounded by how much design space the game still has.

What if you've been preparing yourself to face the ultimate bad, the five headed dragon, but instead a giant walks out with 3 of its heads on a flail?

Featuring Flaiamat, the last in our little series of 5E flails.

I just found out about this amazingly sapphic card for WOTC and I wanted to share it with someone sapphic enough to appreciate it. :P Planeswalkers Saheeli and Huatli, out walking their "Dogs". The card is "Heartbeat of Spring."

Not trying to sound like an ass, but if you havent, read this 5e book

WOTC describes what shadowfell is, how its made, who rules it, lists off how to run it, ways to customize it and make it your own. Ravenloft is just a corner of it, the rest is all in this one book

if World of Warcraft would have really wanted me playing their game again they should have done what WotC just did. ADD MORE BIRDS FOR ME TO SWOON AT.
