the hot new #PokemonSwordShield pokemon Cramorant doing what cormorants do best
Cormorants on my mind... after seeing so many at Lizard point yesterday, this one is from a while ago and a bit different as its in collage, it is a greetings card now 😊
A new creature design for my as yet named spec zoo project. A distant descendant of the cormorant fully adapted to life in the ocean. Measuring 20 feet long, it’s back legs have fused into flippers and it’s nostrils have moved to the top of the skull to form a sort of blowhole.

Happy Monster Monday!
Here is a drawing I did inspired by @kickthepj moon tweets. You know I had to design a monstrous alien creature of massive proportions. A glacial dweller mixed with cormorants, pelagornis, leopard seals, and cockatoos!

@arvalis Cormorants are pretty neat. There used to be a flock of them where I live.
Progress of a cormorant watercolour. Also reading “The seabird’s cry” by Adam Nicolson, when I get time, it’s wonderful!

I'd been wanting an updated picture of Korian/Cormorant for a while, and while this is sketch-lined I'm still pretty happy with how it turned out!
