The only thing keeping Kengan Ashura from being a top tier anime for me is the CGI used excessively. Besides that, the characters are gold, the premise is great, and the fights are intense and unpredictable. Absolutely recommended. Manga 9.5/10, anime solid 8/10. Gaolang best boy

Better than Phantom... but a cartoonishly overblown, ill-disciplined mess. Some good action sequences but also some hideously irritating characters, CGI overkill and awful script.

The one thing I have 100% praise for is the animation. This might be the most gorgeous Blue Sky film of the bunch. Somehow Blue Sky has the most fluid CGI animation out of all the studios. The way they make the characters do exaggerated poses is unbelievable.
