That's what I don't like about sevral modern cartoons, they make all characters soft. I guess that's just personal preference, that I like the older cartoons that had a lot of hard edges, but I think a healthy balance of both, depending on character would be ideal.

Can be found in all kinds of forests but especially near oak trees; they’re more abundant near forest edges than in deep forest. They’re most common in urban and suburban areas when there's oak tree and feeders present. I've seen these like,,once tho.

Here are some examples of mine, idk if they help but visual stuff helps me haha

For the edge of the fellas in 1st I used overlay layers, + for the knife it was overlay + add layers, techno has a white rimlight + overlay airbrush around edges, particle effects can help too!
