First day done! Working with my team to make an Asteroids/Snake game, where you're controlling a train that picks up train cars with different guns! Here's the Asteroids you'll shoot!

Beware of her, who hides behind asteroids, for her songs are beautiful and charming, but they sing of death. Beware the Junk Maiden! - a new Boss in Solar Sails!

Found an early build of Asteroids for GBC. Compare the title screen to the final. In some ways, I like the earlier version more! ROM is half the size of the final though, lots missing.

Today, Asteroid 4772 Frankdrake makes its closest approach to Earth (2.4 AU). Named for American astronomer & astrophysicist Frank Drake who wrote the Drake Equation and conducted the first SETI search in 1960. Drake will turn 90 years old this May.

Aight after the failure of painting hands after a couple months of doing no art ('cept for drawing dicks in the dust that covers a colleague's work PC) painting some spacescapes feels sooo good I cant even. I love me some spacescapes.

wow what could it mean that this entire series is themed around asteroids being consistent with what they were like when they were young? I guess this will just forever remain a mystery for us

2 years into our manned mission to Mars we were woken from stasis
An alert, we were under attack
“Just asteroids” we agreed as we made our way to the bridge
But no

Russian cosmonauts gone in space picking off other missions
We strapped-in ready for war

Jupiter is the eldest Planet out of all the solar system siblings. He's gentle and kind and a bit of a push over. His job is to make sure all the asteroids in the Kupier belt stay in their orbit. The whole family see's Jupiter as reliable and it can make him feel overlooked.

to improve our understanding of these objects' orbital and physical properties!

I'm so sleepy, but we have Space Sharks to paint.
Let's do a short stream and work on those asteroids, maybe also add some colour to the foreground!

See you in 15 minutes!

There were Eldan labs on some of the asteroids, too—either because they needed cleaner and more sterile settings for some of their experiments, or because they just didn't want to deal with other people. Which is a mood.

A couple of the expeditions (which could be soloed, or done in a group) took you to asteroids in near-Nexus orbit. Fragment Zero was overrun with Skeech; Outpost M-13 was an Aliens-esque infestation. ("Game over, man! Game over!")
