The best type of day out: fossil hunting on the dramatic Scottish (Fife) coast with undergrads. Field trips during class time are wonderful... Carboniferous crinoids, corals, trees, trace fossils galore!

Frosterley marble is a black limestone containing fossil corals & crinoids of the Carboniferous Period. When polished it looks like marble.

This one was designed by my little brother and it's one of my favorites. It's Water/Dark and looks like a mix of concepts, mainly a moray eel with corals as its mane. The idea is that It disguises itself as vegetation to surprise its preys.

Another aquatic species I had in mind for too long now. Ghostreef. It stays in water burried with it's back exposed to live in symbiosis with corals. Until every 50 years in mating season, it crawls on land, just like turtles.

Another requested scene from Beyond the River. I'm not too happy with how it turned out, but it's Blizzardfur yelling at Iceslide after Coralshine dies

Corgashell * Fairy/Water
It goes around the ocean floor, searching for discarded shells, corals and anything else it can use to shield its soft, squishy body. Slime covers its body to protect it and keep it moist when out of the ocean.
