Issue #270’s Off-Panel directly references Tetsuo Hara’s "Fist Of The North Star" and Hirohiko Araki’s "Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders". With Sonic and Knuckles resembling each series's respective protagonists, plus quoting their most famous lines.
At first glance, this image doesn’t seem like much…until you realize it’s a very, very rare photo of one of the original Disneyland Sleeping Beauty walkthrough attraction dioramas. Very few photographs are known to exist prior to it’s ‘barbie-doll’ update in the 70’s.
